Jet2 experience
This was my first time flying with Jet2, and overall it was a very positive experience.
Initially, I was extremely disappointed as Jet2 refused to cancel, rearrange, or amend my booking when I was admitted to hospital the day before my scheduled departure. At the time, an operation was suspected, which caused a huge amount of stress and trauma. Thankfully, I didn't end up needing the operation and was able to make the flight — but it was an incredibly worrying situation.
Once I was able to travel, however, Jet2 were amazing from start to finish. The flight crew were outstanding — friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. The flight itself was smooth both on take-off and landing, and there was plenty of legroom with enough space to move around comfortably, which made a real difference on a long-haul flight.
The hotel was also lovely. It was a little quiet, but given the time of year, that was completely understandable. The overall stay was relaxing and enjoyable.
Despite the difficult start, the actual travel experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Jet2 Holidays and hope to fly with you again soon — next time with a bit more peace of mind and a lot more relaxation.
