Return BC flight Manchester - Shanghai with Juneyao airlines
Airline: can't check in online which seems to be a common teething issue with Juneyao. Can't choose seats up front either so get to the airport early doors. Telephone support has no English. Also can't book using points despite the website claims.
Food: I've flown to China many times and know what to expect. I'll leave it at that. Drinks menu had a good selection of awful drinks. Breakfast was sausage porridge.
Seat layout: BC is 1,2,1 with two seat variants. I sat in one type each leg. The seats which face inwards (arm rest to the aisle) are by far the best as you've somewhere to put your bags and they therefore feel more spacious. Lay flat chairs with massage and heat function were great.
Service: Fantastic, couldn't fault it. Friendly, attentive, observant.
Overall: For the price we paid (v cheap), a very very good flight. If Juneyao allow points in the future then I'll be flying to mainland China every time with them. 7/10
